I'm Jason, and I run 58 South Creative Studio out of Adrian, Michigan. I make brand films, interior and space videography, and social content for clients who care about the difference between something that looks good and something that actually lands.
I got into video because I wanted to tell stories. The kind that don't announce themselves, they just pull you in. That instinct still drives every project I take on. When you hire 58 South, you work with me directly. From the first conversation through the final export.
I'm a Marine veteran. That background shaped how I work — the discipline, the attention to detail, the belief that doing something right matters. I'm also a father, which means I understand why legacy, craft, and stories matter.
The work I love most is the kind that has something real at the center. A maker who's spent decades perfecting a craft. A space that deserves to be seen the way it was meant to feel. A brand built by people who actually believe in what they're doing. That's the stuff worth filming.

I run a small studio by design, and when a project calls for it, I bring in the right crew. Either way, I'm the creative director on every job. You always know who you're working with and who's accountable for the work.
Story first.
Before I pick up a camera I want to understand what you're building and why it matters. The best visuals come from a clear point of view, and that starts with listening.
Craft matters.
Good work isn't an accident. It comes from caring about the details most people skip — the light, the edit, the sound, the story underneath the story. That's what separates something forgettable from something that stays with you.
