I'm Jason, and I run 58 South Creative Studio out of Adrian, Michigan. I make brand films, interior space films, and social content. My purpose is to help people see the care behind your work and understand why it matters.
I got into video because I wanted to tell stories. I’m drawn to the details that make a person, a business, or a place distinct. When we work together, my job is to listen closely, find those details, and turn them into something your audience can connect with.
I'm a Marine veteran. That background shaped how I work — the discipline, the attention to detail, the belief that doing something right matters. I'm also a father, which means I understand why legacy, craft, and stories matter.
The work I love starts with people who care: a maker refining a process, a designer shaping how a room feels, or a business owner building something they believe in. I want the finished film to help others see what you see in your work.

Small by design.
I run a small studio by design, and when a project calls for it, I bring in the right crew. Either way, I'm the creative director on every job. You always know who you're working with and who's accountable for the work.
Story first.
Before I pick up a camera, I want to understand your work, your audience, and what you hope they’ll take away. Listening gives the film its direction and keeps every creative choice connected to a purpose.
Craft matters.
Light, framing, pacing, and sound all shape how a story is felt. I give those details the attention they deserve, so the finished work reflects the care you put into yours.
